Police have warned teenagers officers are to patrol a beach near St Austell after reports of anti-social behaviour.
Following a neighbourhood meeting about disorder on the beach at Carlyon Bay, St Austell Police said there would be targeted patrols by officers and security staff.
They said security officers would check bags and confiscate alcohol from young people thought to be under 18 years old.
After being told parents had been seen in the car park giving their children alcohol, police asked them to "act responsibly and support the police" to keep the beach "enjoyable and safe" for all.
